The Haridaspur-Paradeep (82KM) Project is the virtual extension of the Daitari/Tomka- Banspani new BG line under construction and purports to join the iron ore rich belts of Banspani and Daitari sectors of the State of Orissa with Paradeep Port. It will be the third line connection to Paradeep Port from East Coast main line and will relieve congestion in the same.


Progress of Work
 
  1. Land acquisition is in progress.
  2. Project is to be executed by RVNL.
  3. Total land to be acquired is 1430 acres out of which requisition have been placed with the State Govt. in 45 villages for 169.67 acres. Balance are in progress.
