NOTICE

Enquiry into accident of goods train No.NSKND with a Truck No.OR-09G-4847 at unmanned level crossing at Km.175/11 between Jakhapura and Sukinda Stations on 25.06.2008 at 07:00 hours in Khurda Road Division will be held in the Chamber of Divisional Mechanical Engineer, East Coast Railway,Khurda Road on 14.07.2008 and 15.07.2008 at 10:00 hours till completion. Members of public having knowledge relating to this accident or matters connected there with may appear and tender evidence at the enquiry on the dates mentioned above or write to the Divisional Mechanical Engineer,East Coast Railway,Khurda Road, P.O: Jatni, District-Khurda PIN-752050.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

East Coast Railway seeks Expression of Interest from interested parties for associating their brand name with a train to make it a BRANDTRAIN.

Features:

Brand name will be associated with selected trains such as 2891/2892 Bhubaneswar-Baripada, 2893/2894 Bhubaneswwar-Bolangir,8411/8412 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam Intercity Exp.,8301/8302 Sambalpur-Rayagada Exp., and 8303/8304 Sambalpur-Puri Intercity Exp.
Brand name features will appear along with the train’s name in announcements relating to the train.
On destination boards of the train
On Train name board.
Supply of brochures in trains.
On Vinyl wrapping of exterior of coaches and display of advertisement boards inside the coaches.
It helps in creation of instant brand image.
In essence, the brand and train go together.

Expression of Interest is welcome from the following:

Advertisement agencies (only one brand name will be allowed during entire duration of the agreement)
Industry / Companies / Firms ( except as restricted under Railway Act, and other guidelines in vogue)

In the Expression of Interest, the following may be furnished:

Company / Firm name and address, Nature of business, yearly turnover
Detailed proposal along with reasons for expressing interest.
Any other information.

Sri Balbir Singh, Commissioner of Railway Safety, South Eastern Circle, Kolkata under the Ministry of Civil Aviation will hold a statutory enquiry on 03-05-2008 and 04-05-2008 commencing from 10.30 hours of 03-05-2008 at Divisional Railway Manager's Meeting hall, Khurda Road in connection with the unusual occurrence of a tipper lorry grazing 0895 Howrah Puri summer special, at about 04.15 hours of 01-05-2008, at km. 413/08-10, at Gopalpurbalikuda station yard of Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway.

Any member of public having knowledge relating to this occurrence and matter connected therewith and desiring to give evidence may do so at the above place on the date of enquiry or write to the Commissioner of Railway Safety, South Eastern Circle, Strand Road (12th Floor, Kolkata - 700001).

Your communication should be made in an envelope prominently superscribed as “Special Pension Adalat - 2008” and addressed for personal attention as above.

Kindly note that grievances not connected with final settlement dues such as request for compassionate ground appointment, employment of wards, payment of time barred salary, allowances, stepping up of pay, etc will not come under the purview of the “Special Pension Adalat”. Representation regarding payment of settlement dues only will be entertained. Railway quarter, if any, should be vacated for prompt payment of D.C.R.G. amount.

Your application should reach the officer concerned on or before date mentioned above.

ATTENTION FOR RETIRED RAILWAY EMPLOYEES WHO COMPLETED 15 YEARS OF RETIRED LIFE – Retired Railway employees should contact Pension Disbursing Authority (i.e. Bank/Post Office, etc) for restoration of pension on completion of 15 years from the date of commutation of pension.
