Advertisement for EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Chief Medical Director, East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar, for and on behalf of the President of India, desires to hire an agency for providing manpower (Doctors) on contract basis to man the Central Hospital of the East Coast Railway at Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any agency having Hospital, Nursing Home, Medical Institution in the Allopathic field or any agency having supplied such kind of manpower during the year.
- Agency without such criteria will not be eligible to apply
- The agency has to pay remuneration to the doctors as follows:

- Earnest Money Deposit: Rs.27528/- to be deposited in the shape of Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank payable to FA&CAO, East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar.
- The eligible parties will be short-listed after a pre-bid conference. Then, the short-listed parties will be asked to quote financial bid.
- The duration of the contract will be for one-year from the date of engagement of the agency. The tender document containing the responsibilities of doctors and other terms & conditions will be made available to the short-listed agencies on payment of the requisite cost of the document.
- “Expression of Interest” received without EMD shall be summarily rejected. The Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.27528/- shall be refunded to the unsuccessful agency.
- Railway reserves the right to accept/reject or cancel the offer at any point of time without assigning any reasons thereof.
- Interested parties should apply in plain paper giving full credentials and other relevant details, separately for Doctors and Para-medics, along with the requisite EMD so as to reach the under-mentioned address by 20.04.08, in hand or by post. However, Railway shall in no way be held responsible for any postal delay

It is brought to the notice of General Public that in the newly constructed Broad Gauge Railway Line from Keonjhar to Tomka (located in Keonjhar and Jajpur districts) goods trains/Railway engines will start running from 10.02.2007.
The Public are reminded that they should be vigilant and exercise extreme caution while passing through unmanned level crossings. They should be alert and look for movement of trains on either side of the track before crossing the unmanned level crossings. This is further brought to the notice of general public that it is necessary for their own safety to follow provisions of Section 131 of Motor Vehicle Act, and Section 161of Railways Act. They should not cross Railway line other than at the Level crossings as the same can be dangerous.

Sub:- Holding of Adalat for Pending Compassionate Appointment Cases-2007
As per Railway Boards circular No-E(NG) II/98/RC-I/64 Pt.4 dated 04.8.05, Adalat for Pending Compassionate Appointment Cases-2007 at Head Quarter level is going to be held at 11.00 hours on 22.11.2007(Thursday) at CPO’s office/Bhubaneswar.
The bereaved families of the East Coast Railway jurisdiction having grievance about their pending compassionate appointment cases may come directly to the Adalat with their application along with following documents:
1. Death Certificate / Medical Unfit or decategorisation certificate.
2. FIR in case of missing Railway employee.
3. Legal Heir certificate.
4. Family composition in detail.
5. Application seeking Employment Assistance.
6. Certificate regarding Date of Birth /Qualification of the candidate.
7. Settlement papers available.
8. Attested photos of the candidate.
9. Valid Adoption deed in case of adopted son/daughter.
10. No objection from elders if application is made in favour of the younger.
The applicants are advised to furnish the full details of the case with supported documents and should attend the Adalat in person or through their family representative with proper authorization.
Similar attempts have been made in the divisional level also. All the divisions are going to conduct Adalat for pending Compassionate Appointment in the month of November 2007. The case which can not be finalized in the divisional level that may be referred to HQ for dealing it in HQ level Adalat.
